Daddy (Age 32)
A.J. (Age 3 1/2)
Location: In the car
A.J.: Daddy, if Heaven is so high in the sky, how do old people get there?
Daddy: I'm not really sure. Maybe there's an escalator.
A.J.: Escalators can't go in the sky!
Daddy: Maybe God comes down and carries them to Heaven.
A.J.: God can't fly. He doesn't have wings.
Daddy: He might fly like Superman. You know, with a cape.
A.J.: I think God flies by kicking his feet.
Daddy: Like He's swimming?
A.J.: Yeah, like swimming.
Daddy: Maybe God sends an angel to pick up the old people. Angels have wings.
A.J.: But old people are really heavy.
Daddy: Maybe angels are really strong.
A.J.: Well, angels have holes in their bottoms.
Daddy: They have holes in their bottoms?
A.J.: Yeah, so you can put them on top of Christmas trees.
